The many organisations listed in the LCSW member directory are evidence of a 'natural' low carbon cluster in the South West of England. The region hosts world-class organisations specialising in areas such as renewable energy, waste management, sustainable transport and many more. Despite an uncertain economy, the sector is still likely to grow, due to increased legislation, greater research and a general shift towards more sustainable modes of production, development and consumption. LCSW will make it easier for companies, entrepreneurs, investors and researchers to meet and exchange ideas and opportunities. The network will also provide a showcase for low carbon technology innovation.
