Since joining BETS and attending the Expo 08 and other seminars hosted by the Universities, our international sustainable transport consultancy business has become much better connected to both public and commercial transport investment projects and potential technology collaborators, e.g for hybrid and electric vehicle technologies and bio-fuels development for rapid transit in Bristol and the wider South West region. We also find this network is a really good route into the three major Universities and related think-tanks here - with their world-class research capabilities and contacts
